About
In an era when many people are getting dogs instead of kids, what used to be a routine walk has turned into an exciting way to meet people. Our dogs force us to be fully present in the moment and connect us with people we'd otherwise probably walk right past.
It would be unfair to leave our four-legged darlings home alone during the Prague Pride Festival. They too want to enjoy the celebration and hang out together. That's why this rainbow walk is dedicated to them, in the pleasant surroundings of Kinsky Garden, where they'll feel right at home.
Bring your four-legged buddy and join the rest of the queer dog crowd for some quality time your pup will love. Let them splash around in the fountain, play fetch, get to know the other participants (through more than just mutual sniffing) and simply enjoy a safe space for two-legged and four-legged creatures alike.
You can also join even if you don't have a dog. There will be plenty of opportunities for scratches, cuddles and throwing a ball! Come and enjoy pure canine joie de vivre. The world around us is changing, but the strong bond between dogs and humans remains. That's why our rainbow pack is meeting at the festival for the third time this year.
We'll meet at the Kinsky Summer Palace in Kinsky Garden. Leashes will be a gentle reminder of the connection between us and our dogs. We don't see them as a restriction, but rather as a way to safely share space together. Anyone who feels safe can unclip the leash and let their darlings freely enjoy the company of other dogs and people.
The event is organised by Klára & Zuzka and their whippet Lori and labrafort Haru, who want to meet other dogs living their amazing lives alongside queer people.
