They present themselves as defenders of the traditional family and those sounding the alarm against "gender ideology" – whatever that term is supposed to mean. They push for bans on sex education, restrictions on LGBTQ+ rights, oppose protections for women against violence, and also seek to ban abortion.
The anti-gender movement is gaining strength across Europe and in Czechia, often finding ways to influence public policy. How long has it been active in the Czech Republic and what steps are its representatives taking? What is their vision of an "ideal Czechia" in the coming years?
