Knitting Workshop with Luboš Bailador

Want to learn how to knit but don't know where to start? Here's your chance to fix that — and under the guidance of a Czech internet legend himself.

Luboš Bailador, an influencer and content creator famous for circling deals in supermarket flyers, handicrafts, and baking, will walk you through the very basics of knitting. He'll show you how to make a starting chain, cast stitches onto the needles, and manage your first stitches. No prior experience needed — the workshop is open to absolutely anyone who's up for trying something new.

And why learn to knit anyway? Because instead of mindlessly scrolling on social media, you can have something growing in your hands. And when Christmas rolls around, your gifts will be better than grandma's — or at least just as good.

Bring your own needles and a ball of yarn. A tip from the master: light-colored yarn is ideal for beginners so you can count stitches more easily.

Since beginners might get totally tangled up after two and a half hours of knitting basics, Luboš has split his workshop into two sessions: Session 1 casts on at 4:00 PM and knits until 5:00 PM. Followed by a 15-minute break.

Session 2 pulls out the needles at 5:15 PM and knits until 6:15 PM. Followed by a 15-minute break.

Anyone who's getting the hang of it (with all the twists and turns) can keep knitting freely with Luboš well into the night.

Luboš Bailador has won the hearts of the Czech internet with his authentic style.
