Closing Service of Prague Pride Festival

As every year, the Logos ČR community invites all queer people, allies, and Prague Pride Festival participants at the end of the rainbow week to join together in reflection on the Gospel, which is good news for all of us. God accepts us all as we are!

Let's express our gratitude to God through prayer and song for everything He gives us. Let's give thanks for the opportunity to organize Prague Pride Festival and for all the good we could experience throughout the week. Let's intercede together for those who didn't understand or didn't have the chance to encounter this good news in their churches. Let's strengthen ourselves spiritually through the celebration of Holy Communion. Let's simply be together and rejoice that we are never alone.

The service in an ecumenical spirit will be led by representatives of two churches that currently allow blessing and solemnizing marriages of same-sex couples – Petr Miencil representing the Old Catholic Church and Zdeněk Turek from the Evangelical Church of Czech Brethren.
