Parents' Group (CZ)

Have you recently learned that your child is gay, lesbian, or bisexual? It's not easy to accept and you're looking for ways to come to terms with it, strengthen your relationship with your child, and support them?

We invite you to a support group for parents of LGBT+ children. Come talk about what you're experiencing with others in similar situations. You can find inspiration or discover new approaches. The meetings are led by a psychologist and a psychotherapist who have extensive experience working with LGBT+ people and their families.

The classic support group is designed for a maximum of 12 people and meets once a month. More details will be shared with registered participants.

We currently run three parent groups – one led by Irena Smetáčková and Jana Soukupová, another by Jana Soukupová and Lea Roland, and a third online group led by Irena Smetáčková and Adam Šindelář. After registering for a group, one of the group leaders will contact you based on current availability.

Participation in the group is free. Regular attendance is not required, but it will be beneficial for you. The group is organized by sbarvouven.cz
