Parents Group (CZ)

Have you found out that your child is gay, lesbian or bisexual? Is it difficult for you to accept and you're looking for a way to come to terms with it, strengthen your relationship with your child and support them?

We invite you to a support group for parents of LGBT+ children. Come and talk about what you're experiencing with others in a similar situation. You can be inspired or even discover new approaches. The meetings are led by a psychologist and a psychotherapist who have extensive experience working with LGBT+ people and their families.

The classic support group is designed for a maximum of 12 people and meets once a month. Details will be shared with registered participants.

Currently we run three sessions of the parents group – one group is led by Irena Smetáčková and Jana Soukupová, the second by Jana Soukupová and Lea Roland, and the third, which is online, is led by Irena Smetáčková and Adam Šindelář. After registering for a group, one of the group leaders will contact you based on currently available spots.

Participation in the group is free. Regular attendance is not required, but it will be beneficial for you. The group is organized by sbarvouven.cz
