Support group for parents of trans* people

Parents and caregivers of trans*, non-binary, or intersex children often feel isolated and unsure how to navigate their new situation. That's why we're organizing a meeting where you can talk together, share experiences, tips, and support and advise each other.

The purpose of this group is to create a safe and shared space for parents and caregivers of children who are going through or have gone through transition or other forms of gender self-discovery. The group is designed without the participation of trans, non-binary, or intersex people themselves and is intended only for parents and caregivers — together we'll create a space where you won't be alone with your questions and concerns.

Due to limited capacity, registration via an online form is required.

Vibe check – intimate event (up to around 30 people), quiet event (no loud music, shouting, etc.), requires audience or participant interaction, seating available, indoor venue

Organized by – Trans*parent z.s. Transparent is an organization working to advance the rights and positive social change for transgender, non-binary, and intersex people. The association was founded in Prague in spring 2015 out of the need to share information and experiences and to change policy in the area of transgender equality. Transparent seeks to promote understanding and acceptance of trans*, non-binary, and intersex people at both the social and legislative levels.
