A stage adaptation based on Édouard Louis's novels about the transformation of a mother-son relationship, sparked by the decision to break the cycle of violence and silence.

Eddy B. grew up in a poor working-class family in northern France, in an environment full of violence, daily humiliation and homophobia. As an adult, he decided to leave. He changed his name, wrote books about his childhood and became famous. By making his story public, he was able to offer his mother the chance to leave too and start over. But at what cost, when their privacy is now known to the whole world?

The theatre adaptation freely combines three of Édouard Louis's novels: How to Become Someone Else, A Woman's Battles and Transformations, and Monique on the Run.
