About
What to expect
Another evening in the Safe Spaces series, organized as part of Prague Pride Festival, will follow the production How to Become Someone Else inspired by Édouard Louis's novels. The discussion will explore themes of coming of age, queer identity, the relationship between mothers and sons, and what happens when intimate family experiences become public narratives.
What price can "escaping an environment of violence, silence, social norms, and expectations" carry? What does it mean to write about your own life and the people closest to you? And where lies the boundary between personal testimony, autofiction, and invasion of privacy?
