About
Times are changing. And progress pushes us forward. But where are we actually heading?
A documentary musical on the borderline between documentary and fiction follows the journey of three protagonists – two women and one man. Together with them, it searches for an answer to the question of where we, as a society and as individuals, are heading.
Progress has become an omnipresent value of the modern world. It brings with it constant acceleration. The old is quickly discarded and replaced by the new. But the new soon becomes outdated as well. What happens to humans and humanity in this all-pervading motion? How can we live in a world that constantly strives toward something newer and better? And how does progress relate to the identity and rights of queer people? Can we find comfort in progress, or should we fear that we will regress?
After the screening, there will be a discussion with director Ondřej Vavrečka.
