Parents' Group (CZ)

Have you recently found out that your child is gay, lesbian, or bisexual? Are you struggling to accept this and looking for ways to cope, strengthen your relationship with your child, and support them?

We invite you to join a support group designed for parents of LGBT+ children. Come and talk about what you're experiencing with others in similar situations. You can find inspiration and discover new approaches. The meetings are led by a psychologist and psychotherapist with extensive experience working with LGBT+ people and their families.

The classic support group is limited to a maximum of 12 people and meets once a month. More details will be shared with registered participants.

We currently run three groups of the parents' circle – one led by Irena Smetáčková and Jana Soukupová, another led by Jana Soukupová and Lea Roland, and a third online group led by Irena Smetáčková and Adam Šindelář. After registration, one of the group leaders will contact you based on current availability.

Participation is free of charge. Regular attendance is not required, but it will be beneficial for you. The group is organized by sbarvouven.cz
